HISTORY
Every year at Coors, when I was there, we had a cookie exchange. Since I organized the exchange, I always made sure I got some of these. They are delicious. This was Statia Shelton’s recipe.
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup butter
3 Cups flour
1 Cup sugar
1 Tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 6 oz frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
INSTRUCTIONS
Set 1/2 of the 6 oz pink lemonade aside. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix. Mix soda and flour together and add alternately to creamed mixture with half of the can of frozen lemonade. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes. Brush hot cookies with lemonade concentrate and sprinkle with red or green Christmas sugar.
